Virtually in Cyprus!

Ceri Binding and Douglas Tudhope reported on recent work for the ARIADNEplus H2020 infrastructure project at the CAA2021 Conference (Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology), organised virtually by the Cyprus University of Technology (15-18 June). Ceri presented ARIADNEplus work on mapping between vocabularies and discussed how to make practical use of Linked Open Data. Doug was a panel member on two roundtables, discussing the possibilities for archaeology of Paradata (contextual metadata) and also Digital Infrastructures and New Technologies in Archaeology. Also at the conference, USW Research Fellow, Keith May, presented on recent developments in The Matrix project with the Hypermedia Research Group.
